A colorist with a strong sense of design, Nancy Dunlop Cawdrey’s work always evokes a response, whether she is creating one of her signature western figure pieces, a vibrant floral or a breathtaking landscape.
Nancy’s work is included in invitational art shows across the West: C. M. Russell Show, the “Heart of The West” show, Western Visions Invitational, and the Buffalo Bill Art Show, to name a few. She is a Signature Member of the Montana Watercolor Society. Her work is exhibited in many private and corporate collections across Montana, the USA, North America, Europe and Asia.

Designated by Glacier National Park as an Official Artist for the Park’s Centennial celebration, Nancy is also represented in galleries in Jackson, Cody, Tubac, Oklahoma City, Boulder, and Bigfork. While silk painting is Nancy’s medium of choice, she continues to explore a variety of subjects in watercolor, oil and experimental media, often using a mixture of media in her silk compositions. Through this overlaying of various media she creates buoyant color and texture with her combination of transparent pigment and the shimmer of silk.
